I'm really disappointed... ( Je suis vraiment decu...)

I'm really disappointed... Many of my frens did not switch off their lights..

They asked : Wat's the point of doing it anyway.. It's not like u switch off ur lights for one hour a year will save the earth... It does not have any effect at all...

Hello... The main objective of this event is NOT to reduce using electricity.. It's to send a msg tat we, the human race can actually do somthg and that there are still ppl who cares about this earth we are living on and wanted to do somethg about it.... Hey.. at least we DID do somthg... better than those who did not do it at all.. Are i should say those who does not have intention to do it and just think tat it's a piece of crap...

However.. My whole skul's hostel switched off their lights.. This is the 1st time tat i'm proud of my skul... haha...

Anyway.. This year's earth hour is done... Now time to study for tomoro's exam... ^^

I miss Sabah... ( Sabah me manque...)

Today, I had a dream about my life in Sabah....

I woked up at 7.30... (class starts at 8)... But i dun feel lik rushing to get ready for class... The dream made me bad mood.. especially for a school day... Few days ago.. I started feeling homesick.. I seldom do.. Really... But now, i miss my family, miss my frens in Sabah... Miss the foods there.. Miss the lifestyle there.. miss everythg... I wanna go bak... But i knw tat i will have to wait at least until August to go bak...

Sad...

Anyways.. It's earth hour tomorrow... Don forget to switch off ur lights at 8.30...

Today... ( Aujourd'hui...)

Today morning, it was raining cats n dogs... I don lik rainy days cz i hate to get my shoes wet.. N when our lecturer came in, he rolled up his pants n was wearing a pair of slippers... My gosh.. Looked really funny... Haha...

And we started to learn some french idioms in class... I find tat french lik to talk bout pigs in idioms a lot... There's :
1. Tete de cochon ( pig head ) = bad characteristic.
2. n'avoir pas garde les cochons ensemble ( didn't look after the pigs together ) = not very familier.
3. travail de cochon ( pig's job ) = badly done.
4. donner de la confiture aux cochons ( giving jam to pigs ) = giving someone thgs they will not appreciate.
5. un temps de cochon ( pig's time) = a bad time.
6. comme des cochons ( like pigs ) = very dirty.
Last but not least... 7. copains comme cochons ( frens lik pigs) = good frens... =.=

I wonder why they use pigs as a symbol to good frens... haha... N our lecturer told us tat according to research done on sleeping places, the human's sleeping room is more dirty n full of bacteria compared to cat's sleeping place, n lastly followed by pigs sleeping place. N yet, some humans think tat pigs are disgusting..

Tomoro's our francophonie day... Most of the preparation were finished.. I was picked by drawing lots to join the french song karaoke competition... N i dunno any french song... omg... N i still hav to do the miming for edith piaf's song... =.=... N i accidently got into finals for the french quiz... haha... Hope i win so i can get the prize.. A french-french dictionary..!! Wish me luck...

Grandma arrived KL yesterday... N juz now i manage to go out to meet her up b4 her goin bak to Sabah tomoro... Missed her... T_T...

Does this looks bad?? It feels way more worse than it looks.. N the worst thg is... i din knw hw I ended up lik tat... The door slamed shut on my finger... crazily painful, cried madly... T_T

Oral Exams... ( Examens d'orale)

I've finished my orale exam...!! Haha...

I somthg unexpected happened during the exam though... I am suppose to be a fren who went to paris for vacation n have to discuss with my fren which exposition to go to...

(suppose to be in french..)
Me : Let's go to the exposition of paints since there's a shopping center beside "Georges pompidou" where they held it...
Examinator : Er... But there's no shopping center there...
Me : (Uh oh....)

Haha.. so now we have to get ready for wednesday "Francophonie Day" n next sunday will be my writing exams...

Earth Hour...

I've wanted to write about tis since the day i knew about it.. But i thought that ppl will forget about it if i wrote it too early...


Event : Earth Hour
Time : 8.30pm on 28th March 2009
Aim : To send a powerful global message that it's possible to take action on global warming
Participants : one billion ppl from more than 1000 cities

What do we need to do?
-- We just simply hav to turn off ur lights for one hour...

History of event :

Earth hour began in one city, Sydney during 2007. More than 2.2 million households and businesses turned their lights off for one hour on Saturday, 31 March 2007. A year later, Earth Hour reached 370 cities and towns in more than 35 countries. In 2008, 50 - 100 million ppl around the world had participate this event.

This year, Malaysia will be taking part too... Earth Hour is a message of hope and action.
