I'm really disappointed... ( Je suis vraiment decu...)

I'm really disappointed... Many of my frens did not switch off their lights..

They asked : Wat's the point of doing it anyway.. It's not like u switch off ur lights for one hour a year will save the earth... It does not have any effect at all...

Hello... The main objective of this event is NOT to reduce using electricity.. It's to send a msg tat we, the human race can actually do somthg and that there are still ppl who cares about this earth we are living on and wanted to do somethg about it.... Hey.. at least we DID do somthg... better than those who did not do it at all.. Are i should say those who does not have intention to do it and just think tat it's a piece of crap...

However.. My whole skul's hostel switched off their lights.. This is the 1st time tat i'm proud of my skul... haha...

Anyway.. This year's earth hour is done... Now time to study for tomoro's exam... ^^

I miss Sabah... ( Sabah me manque...)

Today, I had a dream about my life in Sabah....

I woked up at 7.30... (class starts at 8)... But i dun feel lik rushing to get ready for class... The dream made me bad mood.. especially for a school day... Few days ago.. I started feeling homesick.. I seldom do.. Really... But now, i miss my family, miss my frens in Sabah... Miss the foods there.. Miss the lifestyle there.. miss everythg... I wanna go bak... But i knw tat i will have to wait at least until August to go bak...

Sad...

Anyways.. It's earth hour tomorrow... Don forget to switch off ur lights at 8.30...

Today... ( Aujourd'hui...)

Today morning, it was raining cats n dogs... I don lik rainy days cz i hate to get my shoes wet.. N when our lecturer came in, he rolled up his pants n was wearing a pair of slippers... My gosh.. Looked really funny... Haha...

And we started to learn some french idioms in class... I find tat french lik to talk bout pigs in idioms a lot... There's :
1. Tete de cochon ( pig head ) = bad characteristic.
2. n'avoir pas garde les cochons ensemble ( didn't look after the pigs together ) = not very familier.
3. travail de cochon ( pig's job ) = badly done.
4. donner de la confiture aux cochons ( giving jam to pigs ) = giving someone thgs they will not appreciate.
5. un temps de cochon ( pig's time) = a bad time.
6. comme des cochons ( like pigs ) = very dirty.
Last but not least... 7. copains comme cochons ( frens lik pigs) = good frens... =.=

I wonder why they use pigs as a symbol to good frens... haha... N our lecturer told us tat according to research done on sleeping places, the human's sleeping room is more dirty n full of bacteria compared to cat's sleeping place, n lastly followed by pigs sleeping place. N yet, some humans think tat pigs are disgusting..

Tomoro's our francophonie day... Most of the preparation were finished.. I was picked by drawing lots to join the french song karaoke competition... N i dunno any french song... omg... N i still hav to do the miming for edith piaf's song... =.=... N i accidently got into finals for the french quiz... haha... Hope i win so i can get the prize.. A french-french dictionary..!! Wish me luck...

Grandma arrived KL yesterday... N juz now i manage to go out to meet her up b4 her goin bak to Sabah tomoro... Missed her... T_T...

I somthg unexpected happened during the exam though... I am suppose to be a fren who went to paris for vacation n have to discuss with my fren which exposition to go to...

Examinator : Er... But there's no shopping center there...

Haha.. so now we have to get ready for wednesday "Francophonie Day" n next sunday will be my writing exams...

I've wanted to write about tis since the day i knew about it.. But i thought that ppl will forget about it if i wrote it too early...


Event : Earth Hour

Aim : To send a powerful global message that it's possible to take action on global warming
Participants : one billion ppl from more than 1000 cities

What do we need to do?
-- We just simply hav to turn off ur lights for one hour...

History of event :

Earth hour began in one city, Sydney during 2007. More than 2.2 million households and businesses turned their lights off for one hour on Saturday, 31 March 2007. A year later, Earth Hour reached 370 cities and towns in more than 35 countries. In 2008, 50 - 100 million ppl around the world had participate this event.

This year, Malaysia will be taking part too... Earth Hour is a message of hope and action.

Holidays.... ( vacances..)

Wow... It's been a week since i updated my blog... I was too lazy to do so... haha... so many thgs happened and i dun wanna write too long... ( i'm sure ppl will get bored )

Well, since laz friday, i was spending my holidays at my uncle's but i had to come bak to hostel today...

On Sunday, we went to eat steamboat... Quite nice... N after tat, we went to a... "book exhibition..??" which was juz nearby... We spend bout 2 hours there..!! ( My uncle's family love books...) I eventually found this one...!! Does it suits me?? It's nice.. really... but I didnt buy it though... haha... so embarassing... >.< Om Monday, we went to visit my aunt's mum... I found this there..!! Nintendo gameboy...!! Haha.. missed it... But i got fed up playing it bcz i was stucked in only level 3 for nearly half an hour... ( I keep die within 15 seconds the game starts.. stupid... =.=)

After tat, My aunt brought us to a beach which was near to the place... Well... I certainly think tat Tanjung Aru beach is much much prettier... The beach here doesn't have a lot of ppl coming too... But mayb tat's y... THERE WERE LOTS N LOTS OF MONKEYS...!!! Haha... xp

So.. I guess tat's all... I'm having exam tis coming sunday... orale test... T_T... I'm so dead... wish me luck...

There's third things i wanna write about..

1st...

After class had finish, i went bak to hostel exhausted... after i changed into my more comfortable clothes, i'm ready to take a nap... Juz as i lied down, my roommate told me tat we have assembly 15 mins later... Argh... I had to get up n change bak to my clothes again n go for the assemble.. =.=

2nd...

After the assembly finished, i went bak to hostel exhausted again... after i changed into my more comfortable clothes, i'm ready to on9... Juz as i wanted to take my laptop n the charger out, i found tat the charger was missing... I left it in the classroom... Argh again.. I had to get up n change into proper clothes again n go all the way bak to get it... =.=

3rd...

After i took the charger bak, i went bak to hostel exhausted again n again... after i changed into my more comfortable clothes i start bloggin. When i finished writing this post n planning to post it, i got a phonecall from my lecturer... She wanted to start my xtra class in 10 mins ... Argh again n again.. I had to get up n change into proper clothes again n go all the way bak for xtra class... =.=

Today is such a.... "busy" day... haiz...

Yesterday was Monday... ( Hier, il etait Lundi..)

Yesterday, Rachel, Derek, two of his cousins, n 1 of his frens... ( sry.. i dn remember ur names... i'm bad at it..) went for movies at Midvalley...

We wanted to watch 7 pounds but when we reach the counter, there's only left the two front rows... No choice but to choose the only movie about that time--- The Reader...

After we bought the tickets, we went to secret recipe to get somthg to eat... N i ordered Kid's Fish N Chips... expecting it to be more... big... but it came out lik tis...!! OMG... It's not even half of the same thg in sabah.. N it's very badly done... I don't think the fish was fresh either... I really dislike Midvalley's secret recipe... Argh..!!

B4 the movie starts, there were a lot of advertisements... after awhile, i asked derek how long was the ads...
He said : " It's already 15 minutes and still goin... " =.=
But that's not all...

I have 3 words of comment about this movie... OH MY GOSH...!! It's a love story about a 15 year old boy with a woman 20 years older than him... =.=... At 1st, there's a lot of sex scenes which have all been cut... So it was lik jumping here n there for a very long time... And then, the timeline was also jumping from the boy at 15 years old, then mayb 45+ years old, then bak to 15 years old, then 19 years old, then 40- years old, then 19 years old... then i dunno anymore... N they didn't show the years at 1st so i was confused...

The movie lasted for 2 hours... (try imagine being confuse n bored for 2 hours... =.=) After the movie had finally finished, everyone was coming out not excited... not happy.. but confused n tired... I heard from Rachel that the movie got quite a lot of awards...
Derek said it was meaningful although he didn't understand wat it is about... N his fren said it was too meaningful that to us it is meaningless... Haha...

Before we went bak, Rachel n I went to carrefour to get some stuff.. N then she spent me BASKIN ROBIN..!! Thank you so much rachel... T_T... It's my 1st time trying it...

So... bout 7.30pm i got bak to the hostel n realize i have 3 essays not done... =.=... hahaha... That's why i'm freakingly tired today...

Despite of so many bad thgs i've gone through few days ago... I realize that not everyone is that bad... There are still ppl who cares about me and will keep on encourage me for what i faced or experienced.. Thank you to all my frens that gave me supports.. Really appreciate it a lot... Guess I really have to work on thinkin positively...

Yesterday, when me n my roommates went down for dinner bout 7pm, i saw my lecturer in the block's common room... I had a feeling that she was waiting for me to hace extra classes... " I always have extra classes with her at that common room"... So i wanted to msg her to find out do we really have classes... But i was so hungry i decided to go eat 1st... (sry...)... Unluckily, the chef wasnt there so we had to wait for him to be bak... n by the time we finish eating, it passed 8pm... N i totally forget about the extra class thg... When we gt bak... My hse mate who juz came bak mention tat the lecturer wans to see me... Uh oh... I'm in trouble... WE DO HAVE CLASSES...!!!

Luciky she wasnt angry... (although she should... cz i was wrong not to ask...)

This weekend, i'm not goin bak to my uncle's... Wanted to spend some time to study... But.... =.=... I was bored the whole day and i did not do any studies...!!! I really should knock my head on the wall until i'm aware tat exam is soon... haiz... i'm hopeless....

N now... i still dun hav the mood to study so i decided to blog... haha... ok ok... I'm dead for the exams...

Humans hearts are filled with selfishness and greediness... Although i'm having a few experience n kept quiet about it, ppl have limits too...!! N i doubt that they feel sry about it and all the fault would be put to me in the end... I'm not the same to them... Zut..!!

However i will still keep quiet about it not bcz i'm nice but we are in the same boat n i'm the odd one... As i said... humans are selfish... I choose this path n this is the way it will be... I'm aware of my own situation and i didn't expect much from it anyway...

Video Workshop..

Last weekend,i attended a video workshop by "Da Huang Pictures"28/2/09

This is the 1st day. At 9.30, we were outside the classroom for registration. Then after those opening.. briefing... we started our 1st part of the workshop -- "solo journalist" course by Mr. Zan Azlee.. Well... He is very freakingly crazily active... haha.. N likes to go out of topic.. ( That's wat he said.. Not me.. xD)

12pm- 1.30pm was our lunch n video shooting time... ( Lunch was nice.. But the dessert.. er... i dunno wat is it... haha... (Btw we were provided lunch n dinner the 1st day...)

I didn't know wat topic to do n i choose a very lame topic... " Learning French".. After that, the whold afternoon was used to do the editing n then uploading it to youtube... Due to such lame video.. I think it's better not to ask you guys to watch it... >.<.. N bcz of our school's wifi is sooooooo bad... Many of us weren't able to finish it on time... (Luckily i'm using broadband so i started goofing around after i finished.. haha... ) After we had our dinner, we started the 2nd part.. " short film making course by the director of the company, Tan Chui Mui... Seriously.. The 1st time i saw her i thought she was a Uni student bout 22-26 years old.. But after talkin to one of the coordinators.. i found out that she was 30+... =.=...

Ok, Back to the course... After a short briefing of how to do it and wat we should do, we were set into groups to start our brainstorming session.. N then our presentation... Then.. the end of the 1st day... We went bak n straight away started our video shots with the location " room". Took a lot of shots bcz we were laughing a lot.. N playing around... Oh ya..!! They borrowed each group one camcorder n i lik it very much.. Neat stuf...!! (wanted to show u guys the video.. but i cnt upload it here.. mayb next time...)

N then the next day, i woke up abit later than the others in my group bcz i'm not doing anythg for the 1st 2 scenes... We start editing it by 12pm.. When it was nearly done... Miss Tan asked to let her have a look.. N then.. We have to reshot it... =.=... But luckily we still manage to finish it after many obstacles... N then, They were so nice that they spent us pizzas for dinner...!!
(I ate 3 piece n 1 chicken wing... =.=)(They didn't actually provide dinner for the 2nd day... )

After having dinner, we watch every videos we did.. The some of the short film is very very funny.. will show it when it's out...

Then at last.. It's the end of the workshop... Tiring, whole weekend gone.. But i really did enjoyed it.. mayb i will start making short films too... when i get my hands on nice camcorder... ( I can't stand shooting thgs with only my handphone camera... =.=)
